Wasn't sure a travel bag was worth it until our first flight with the car seat. It slid over the handle and rolled along with our luggage, and the water repellent fabric kept everything dry when we got caught in rain at the gate.

The rip-stop fabric feels tough enough for checked luggage and the water repellent coating handled a rainy tarmac fine. Wheels roll smoothly through airports, though the bag is a bit snug getting the seat folded in the first few times.
