The self-adjusting back panel actually works, it hugs my daughter's posture instead of me constantly readjusting straps. We've used all four carrying positions already and the hip seat is a lifesaver on long walks. Three years of use for this price feels like a steal.
The four carrying positions are what sold me, and the hip carry has been a lifesaver during my toddler's clingy phases. My only gripe is that the straps take some fiddling to get even on both shoulders. Still, it's held up well past the newborn stage.
